WOOD FIRED VESSEL - BY "TAKA" (5)

This round Taka pot is just over 6" across and a little over 2" deep. Taka is a Japanese artist now living in Wisconsin and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to carry some of her unique and beautiful wood fired vessels. Wood firing ceramics is one of the most dynamic methods of firing, with each piece being one-of-a-kind (warts and all, as they say), and never to be repeated.
